The Rover is a specially designed off-road wheelchair platform that allows a person in a power chair to drive up a platform by using an attached ramp. The prototype was developed by the University of South Florida’s College of Engineering.
The Mobili-T-Rover is powered by the wheels of the power chair and is designed to drive comfortably out onto beaches, farms, golfcourses, parks, campgrounds and nature trails, making those outdoor areas accessible to wheelchair-dependent individuals. No transfer is required from the user’s power chair, and no auxiliary power is necessary.
Dixie Chopper is based in Coatesville, Ind., and sells its zero-turn mowers through a nationwide network of dealers. It is the only lawn mower manufacturer to offer mowers powered by four separate fuels – gasoline, diesel, propane and compressed natural gas.
